A Demag DCS Electric Chain Hoist was selected for this application due to its stepless variable speed lifting capability. The operator can easily control the lifting and lowering speed of the hoist over a wide range from 0.5 - 50 feet per minute or any speed in between.

The pendant control was easily positioned to the exact height requirements of the operator. By simply flipping a locking switch on the side of the hoist, additional pendant cable can be pulled from, or retracted to, a storage area inside the hoist.

The hoist provides gentle and precise handling that is simply not possible with single or two speed hoist units.
