The Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) in cooperation with the College-Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE) and the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) recently launched Gateway—the first-ever job posting site for material handling and logistics students.

“The Web site was developed to attract and recruit students seeking employment in the industry, as well as to strengthen relationships between academia and industry,” according to Liz Richards, executive vice president of MHEDA.

Gateway has many features designed specifically for Students, Academic Advisors and Industry Professionals and provides students visibility among hundreds of Material Handling companies who are seeking new talent. Each section includes an introduction to the material handling industry, job descriptions, publications and free searchable databases for resumes and job postings accessible to industry members.
